2008-2009 Season Preview

Head coach: Dave Saville, 1st season.
Last year's record: 1-7 in the PAC-10, 9-14 overall.
Wrestlers to watch: Sophomores Dan Moore (103), Matt Cermanski (125), Dan Giannone (130), Max Card (145), Ken Cenci (215), and Brandon O'Hara (285); juniors Chris Onder (112) and Tom Cappelli (140); and seniors A.J. Ryan (135), Joe Mandrusiak (160), and Khalil Ervin (171).
Notes: Saville wrestled at Methacton in the late 1980's, served as assistant at Phoenixville Middle School for 11 years, and assisted John Tornetta at Phoenixville High School the past two seasons. ... "For this upcoming wrestling season, as a young team, we are looking to continue growth in the wrestlers' skills and intensity," said Saville, who hopes to turn around a couple of close losses from last year and be more competitive in others. "The team is small in numbers, but we are looking for the rewards of the dedication in the offseason workouts and camps to take shape this season."
